Create Qobuz playlists in Sense

  • Live

I would like the ability to export the playlists I’ve created in the Innuos Sense app to my Qobuz app so that I can listen to the same playlists I’ve created away from my home. It would also be good to do the opposite and export the playlists I’ve created in Qobuz back into the Innuos Sense app. This would be massively beneficial

That makes perfect sense (pardon the pun) Stephen. Look forward too it.

As it has been mentioned in this thread a couple of times, i will rename this request to Qobuz Synchronisation.
What this will entail is:
- Qobuz-created playlists that appear within Sense can now be edited (rearrange tracks, remove tracks, add more Qobuz tracks) and this will synchronise with Qobuz app itself, so Sense and Qobuz are in unison and any changes made are bidirectional.
- Within Sense, if building a new playlist using a Qobuz track you will now have an option to create a 'Qobuz playlist' which will again auto-synchronise with Qobuz app itself so you will see that playlist within Qobuz's own app. This playlist does of course need to consist only of tracks sourced from Qobuz.

Do note that a 'resync' will be still be needed when creating a new playlist in the Qobuz app and you want it to appear in Sense, along with Artist/Album favourites as usual. Other than that, other playlist changes will be automatic and immediate.

Regarding the inversion of Qobuz and Tidal playlists or adding local files to a streaming service playlist with the hope of an 'automatch' to get the equivalent track, this is difficult and not something we can offer in the foreseeable. Soundiiz would remain the best solution for this.

We are currently working on a migration option for Sense playlists to be adopted into a Qobuz/Tidal equivalent which would then auto-synchronise with those services. However, this will initially only work if the Sense playlist exclusively consists of tracks from the respective streaming service, so for example a playlist made on Sense that consists exclusively of Tidal tracks could indeed be 'exported' to Tidal so that you would find it on their app also. But for the foreseeable, we would not be able to do this with playlists using tracks from numerous sources and using an 'automatch' to find equivalents from other streaming services or your local files. For this kind of platform transferral process you would need to consider someone like Soundiiz;

Hi,
I would like the option to save a track found through Innuos Sense to a streaming service playlist. As it is now I can only save them within Innuos Sense. This can be done for example with Sonos S2 app.

This would be so cool. I often find songs in Sense, then I need to open Quboz, find the same song and save it to my Quboz playlist - very tedious.

So a bi-directional synchronization would be very helpful!

The process of exporting Qobuz playlists to Sense is already live and is included as part of the service synchronisation.
In terms of exporting Sense playlists to Qobuz, yes we could explore this so long as the playlists consists solely of Qobuz tracks. We cannot migrate tracks into their service easily from other streaming platforms, and in the case of replicating local files against a Qobuz equivalent is extremely difficult. But yes, a bi-directional sync of playlists between Qobuz and Sense, and also Tidal and Sense, would be feasible.
Would this be sufficient?

I would have loved to be able to recreate my playlists from local files into a Qobuz equivalent, but I understand it may be difficult...

I agree! Would greatly appreciate this ability.

I support this request as it saves me the time of creating a new playlist in Qobuz when already set up in sense

Is it planned for any time soon?

The export of Sense playlists to Qobuz is already in the 'Planned' status on another request. However, there is not an equivalent request for this feature to Tidal, so will rename this request more specifically to the export of playlists to Tidal.

If one creates a playlist on Innous, it does not appear on Qobuz. Therefore, if one uses Qobuz on another device which does not have Innuos, then one does not have the playlist. I'de like to see it transfer.
NOTE: If one creates a playlist on Qobuz, one needs to resyn the Innuos with Qobuz for it to appear, but that does work.

Where do I make playlist: Innuos Sense or Innuos Sense? Are the lists not synchronized automatically?

When implemented, we would implement this feature to all supporting streaming services being integrated.

What: Allow me to save playlists created in Innuos 2.0 using songs on Tidal and Qobuz back to those services.

Why: When outside, I use Tidal and Qobuz on my phone but I can’t see the playlists created in Innuos 2.0. Also, this feature exists in Aurenders software solution.

Workaround: Export playlists to USB stick regularly and then import to Soundiiz for importing into Tidal and Qobuz.

Is this the workaround you are talking about? I would like that! feedback.innuos.com/b/feature-requests/export-import-playlists/

@Nuno - would be great to understand the proposed solution for this?
It's similar to this request I raised - feedback.innuos.com/b/feature-requests/expose-playlists-to-sonos-upnp-1/
I currently sync playlists across different services using soundiiz. If there is a format that can be exposed / exportable, then soundiz or something similar can be used to create / sync those playlists to other services for on the go listening i.e. Tidal / Qobuz / Apple Music / Amazon or Deezer.
(loving the new UPnP integration by the way - being able to play direct to Sonus is great)
