Play, Shuffle or Create Playlists from Search Results

You can shuffle what's in your queue, or in a playlist, but in my opinion it's difficult to get what you want in your queue or playlist in the first place.
The ability to either play direct from search results, or to bulk add to your queue or create a playlist (from search results) would be useful. i.e.
(1) To be able to play or shuffle all tracks for a single artist
(2) To be able to play or shuffle all tracks of a certain genre
(3) To be able to play or shuffle all albums based on artist or genre
So could see a feature that allows search -> add all to queue (or save as playlist) -> then play or shuffle or alternatively just a 'play or shuffle all results direct from search' option. (useful across albums, artists or tracks or search)

Some great improvements, if we could extend whats been done to the album view, to the artist, track and global search (show all) views, this would cover all use cases i.e. being able to multi-select and either add to queue, play mix or create a playlist :-)

Smart Mixes are now available from the Artist view, and can also be initiated from a filtered library view after applying some tags.
A shuffled mix can also be initiated from multi-select choices in both Artist and Album views.

I don;t think you can initiate a 'play mix' from multi-select in the artist view, unless I'm missing something?

You're quite right, merging is possible but a SMart Mix is not; another feature consideration for us to implement.

This seems partially done only: I can create a playlist from a selection of albums. However if I search for tracks with "Clarinet", then I cannot create a playlist from the results as far as I can see. Or am I missing something? Ideally I can do a search and then select all results or some of the results to create a queue, a playlist or a smart mix...

Indeed, I am also looking forward for such a feature! Being able to add search results to the queue is a must IMO.

Great but only partially done I would say. We still cannot add search results to queue. I have submitted another feature request to address this point.

At the moment this is not in the short-term development time from what i am aware.

This is related to the request to be able to select several tracks to ad in bulk to a playlist: from search results, it would be great to then pick and chose a number of tracks and then create a playlist from the selected results
